Earlier this year, Innaxis participated in Airspace World 2023 in Geneva—the leading global event for the Air Traffic Management (ATM) sector. As coordinators of the SafeTeam project, this conference represented a key milestone in our dissemination and engagement activities.

Airspace World is the meeting point for all stakeholders involved in ATM. From regulatory bodies, ANSPs and ATCOs to industry leaders, SMEs, and research initiatives, the entire ecosystem gathers under one roof. It was the ideal venue for Innaxis and our SafeTeam partner DataBeacon to connect with relevant actors and strengthen the project’s visibility across Europe and beyond.

Our participation was driven by several goals:

  • Showcasing SafeTeam and its innovative approach to digital assistants for en-route ATC

  • Engaging with similar Horizon Europe initiatives to explore synergies and shared challenges

  • Building relationships with stakeholders who can support and participate in future validation exercises

  • Staying aligned with the latest trends and developments in ATM digitalisation and automation

As the team responsible for advancing en-route ATC digital assistants within SafeTeam, our presence at such a high-level event was both strategic and necessary.

We would like to acknowledge the support of the European Commission through the Horizon Europe programme. Their continued investment in forward-thinking aviation research allows projects like SafeTeam to contribute to safer, more efficient skies.
